Chairman Osborn (Oz) Nesbitt, Sr. has served two four-year terms as Commissioner Post 1, and is currently serving a 2nd four-year term as Chairman of Rockdale County’s Board of Commissioners in Conyers, Georgia.
Chairman Oz, as he is affectionately known, demonstrates a strong disciplined leadership style as a result of his 15 years in Law Enforcement. He is a member of the uplift organization 100 Black Men of America. He is an award-winning speaker of Toastmasters International and the East Atlanta Networking Social. A former Rockdale County Public School employee, Chairman Oz served as a discipline instructor and basketball coach and currently, is the President/Chief Consultant with SPEAK UP! Communications, Inc.
