President and founder of Thoms Trees and Plants, Inc., Tim Thoms is highly recognized for providing leadership in plant procurement, especially signature trees, for notable projects such as Carter Presidential Library, IBM Tower at Atlantic Center, Centennial Olympic Park, WDW Animal Kingdom, East Lake Golf Club and Auburn University’s Toomer’s Corner Oaks.
Passionate about water policy and planning, Thoms has served as the Speaker of the House’s citizen appointee on the District Governing Board since 2010, was a founding officer and charter member of the Georgia Water Wise Council, was an original At Large member of the ACF Stakeholders, currently serves on the Water Commodity Advisory Committee of Georgia Farm Bureau as well as the Issues Advisory Committtee for Water and the Environment for American Farm Bureau. He also serves up the best pizza around in the LaGrange Your Pie franchise he started in June 2018.
