What: The Metro Water District and the Chattahoochee Nature Center partner together each year to make the Water Drop Dash a fun and family-friendly way to learn about the importance of water conservation to our region.

Why: The Water Drop Dash is presented in celebration of the US EPA WaterSense Fix a Leak Week from March 18-24. Fix a Leak Week reminds homeowners to check their plumbing fixtures and irrigation systems for leaks to save two valuable resources: water and money.

Since 2000, per capita water use in the metro Atlanta region has dropped by more than 30 percent. This could not be achieved without the help of individuals across our region taking simple steps like fixing leaks and replacing outdated toilets and faucets with WaterSense-labeled products. We can all do our part to save water. Every drop counts!
